About International University of Malaya-Wales (IUMW)

International University of Malaya-Wales (IUMW) is a private university located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. IUMW was established based on a mutual partnership between the University of Malaya (UM) & the University of Wales, UK. Leveraging on both universities' outstanding achievement, together with its own band of academicians, IUMW offers an array of undergraduate and postgraduate courses to both local and international students. The first university in the country to offer the Dual Award with credit transfer options for their programmes, students get to study abroad at the United Kingdom for up to three years.

As part of the Dual Award arrangement, students are able to spend a semester at the University of Wales without additional tuition fees and graduate with two degrees; one from IUMW and the other from the University of Wales.

With the availability of internationally- recognised degrees, quality education at affordable prices and access to UM's library and facilities in addition to lecturers from the University of Wales, students are guaranteed to receive the best educational experience a university can offer.

IUMW’s has two prime accommodations in its surrounding areas – Bestari Condominium & Amara in Gombak. Both accommodations are fully furnished beds, study tables, and air-condition units (optional), and are either within walking distance of the campus or accessible by public transport.
