Intakes
Entry Requirements
- A Master’s Degree, as accepted by the HEP’s Senate; OR
- Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s Degree, as accepted by the HEP Senate. OR
- Candidates with at least CGPA of 3.67 at Bachelor’s Degree level may apply to convert their candidacy to the PhD programmes subject to:
- having shown competency and capability in conducting research at PhD level
- rigorous internal evaluation by the HEP
- approval by the HEP’s Senate

For International Students
Students must possess one of the following qualifications:
- IELTS: 5.0
- TOEFL: 34
- Pearson Test of English: 36
- Cambridge English Qualification and Tests (CAE): 160
- Cambridge English Qualification and Tests (CPE): 180
- MUET: Band 3
