Master of Science in Real Estate Development (Coursework)

About

The Master of Science in Real Estate Development (MED) at TAR UMT is a multidisciplinary postgraduate programme designed to prepare professionals for leadership roles in the real estate and built environment industry. The programme combines technical knowledge, financial analysis, planning strategies, and legal frameworks to help students address complex real estate development challenges in a practical and industry-aligned setting.

Students gain expertise in areas such as green building, development appraisal, construction contract management, financial management, planning and development, and research methodology, supported by dissertation work that focuses on real-world industry issues. With strong emphasis on sustainability, feasibility studies, and development strategy, graduates are equipped to make informed decisions across the real estate lifecycle.

The programme is offered full-time (1 year) at the KL Main Campus. Graduates can pursue roles in development planning, project management, consultancy, and other positions within the real estate development sector, with opportunities to progress into senior management with relevant work experience.
