Diploma in Hotel Management

About

Graduates of SEGi University's Diploma in Hotel Management will gain comprehensive knowledge in food and beverage operations, housekeeping, front office management, and overall hotel and resort operations. A key component of the programme is the internship, which provides hands-on experience in real hospitality settings, allowing students to apply classroom learning in a practical environment.

HTMi, Hotel and Tourism Management Institute Switzerland, is recognized as one of the top five Swiss hotel schools and was ranked 13th in the 2021 QS World University Rankings for Hospitality and Leisure Management.

This programme equips students with the theoretical and practical foundations necessary for a career in the hospitality industry. With relevant industry experience and exposure to modern hotel management practices, graduates have the opportunity to gain direct entry into the final year of HTMi’s Bachelor of Arts in International Hotel and Tourism Management programme, which includes six months of study and a six-month internship in Switzerland. Alternatively, students can obtain a Dual Degree—an HTMi BA Degree and an Ulster BSc Degree—within 1½ years.

Career opportunities for graduates include roles in the hotel industry, airline and cruise industry, and food and beverage sector. This programme also serves as a pathway to further studies at the degree level.
