About

The Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Hons) program is structured to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in various aspects of agriculture, including crop cultivation, integrated pest management, seed conditioning, agricultural chemicals, fertilizers, and agricultural technology. With a focus on both theory and practical applications, the curriculum aims to equip students with the technical expertise required for success in the food and fiber industry.

Throughout the program, students will engage in coursework that covers key areas of agriculture, enabling them to understand the complexities of farming systems and agricultural practices. Entry Requirements

  1. Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) (10+2) with a minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects, or its equivalent; and possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with three (3) credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject, or its equivalent;
    OR
  2. Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid, or its equivalent; and possess SPM with three (3) credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject, or its equivalent;
    OR
  3. Matriculation/ Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, or its equivalent, and possess SPM with three (3) credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject, or its equivalent;
    OR
  4. A Diploma (Level 4, Malaysian Qualification Framework) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, or its equivalent.
  5. English Proficiency for Foreign Students
    International Students are required to achieve a minimum score of 5.5 for International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or its equivalent. If the student does not fulfil the above criteria the Lincoln University College must offer English proficiency course to ensure that student is proficient in the language to the standard required by the program.
