University of Hradec Králové is well sought-after tertiary education institution founded in 1959. The University of Hradec Králové comprises of the following faculties and the Institute of social work: Faculty of Education, Faculty of Informatics and Management, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science.

The applicants can choose from dozens of study programmes that cover almost one hundred study disciplines in areas such as Social Sciences, Humanities, Educational Studies, Natural Sciences and Information Technology Studies.

  • The campus includes the University Library and Gaudeamus Publishing House, a textbook shop, and an art gallery. All classrooms and lecture halls are equipped with latest technology. The University has two student dormitories, with a total capacity of over 900 beds.

The University campus is situated conveniently in the town centre of Hradec Králové, which is a vibrant city with numerous sports complexes, parks and green areas.  The town offers students a wealth of leisure time activities & cultural activities.
